Ghana Entertainment News: Gilbert Carry’s The Slave King Is In Cinemas This June 17 Young Ghanaian film writer Gilbert Ramy Carrey is pumped up for the premier of his long awaited movie this June 17. The movie “The Slave King” will be showing at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra and Westhills Malls. The Slave King is a movie about the adventure of a young man (Guru) who becomes a slave after being captured by an ambitious and unforgiving king. The king also captures Guru’s lover and enslaves the both of them. The young man tries to escape together with his lover and the other slaves but little does he know that the king wants to marry his woman. The king later on decides to pay assassins and send Guru to his final destination.
